The food and service was amazing, best in Mackay by far. Food was absolutely delicious. Started with cauliflower potato croquettes with haloumi salsa, mains lamb shanks and twice cooked Malaysian pork ribs. Couldn't fit dessert in , too full. Delicious 😋 😋 😋
Spectacular food and service! The steak was cooked perfectly and so was the lamb shank. Bonus points to David Ting for his magic trick! Will definitely return. 10/10 recommend.
A romantic fusion restaurant in the middle of mackay town. Everything was 5 star. It's a good place for a date. I went for lunch, but dinner would be even better. Looking forward to visit again for dinner.
Fusion 128 is hands down one of our favourite spots in Mackay for date nights and special occasions, we even celebrated my birthday there this year. What we love most is the variety. The fusion-style menu means there’s always something for everyone, especially when sharing with a group. The corn ribs and arancini are absolute favourites, and the food is consistently fresh, full of flavour, and always on point. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff are fantastic. A special mention to David, the owner, who adds such a fun and personal touch with his magic tricks at the table, it’s something a little different and always memorable. Highly recommend for a great night out, we’ll keep coming back!
From the moment we stepped into the restaurant we were served quickly and professionally by lovely staff. The food came out quickly and was delicious! Nice selection of wines and the owner was very entertaining with a magic trick at our table. Overall a lovely experience and will return.
Excellent food and outstanding service. We recently held a business dinner here and everything was faultless, from the quality of the dishes to the attentive, professional service. We’ve also visited previously for a family birthday, which says a lot about the consistency. A great setting with great food, something that’s not always easy to find. Highly recommended!
A wonderful find on my visit to Mackay.. This restaurant has a sophisticated feel with nice warming decor and has the food and service to matches well. Excellently presented dishes comprising of fresh local ingredients , which are a delight to consume in this lovely atmosphere. David is a super friendly host that takes real pride in his lovely restaurant..The service is fantastic, so saying all this I have no hesitation in recommending.. To top it off Fusion proudly offers a very well comprised wine list and selection of cellared wine of quality .. This place is the GO in Mackay .. outstanding!! 👏👏👏👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Very family and child friendly
Wow!!! Absolutely beautiful food. Great selection and generous portions. Christian was fantastic and looked after us.. thank you!!! Will definitely be back. Only negative is that I was too full for dessert :() Their crème brûlées are magnificent. I’ll be sure to squeeze dessert in next time.
Amazing dinner experience for here in Mackay. Wish I could show you.... Hubby had beef cheeks and I had the seafood pasta absolutely 💯% Will definitely be back, we think we've found our new GOTO. Well done #fusion128
Beautiful. I've just started a FODmap diet which is quite restrictive. I rang before going and the chef got on the phone to discuss my query. He'd surprisingly never heard of it but read up and adjusted my meal. We had coconut prawns for entree which were beautiful. Super fresh and the naan was sooo soft. I had beef cheeks for main, amazing! My partner can be fussy but he was more than happy with his ribs. The only slight negatives were that the mains came too quick. A little more $$$ than the usual and decor, though modern is very dark. 1 entree, 2 meals, 2 drinks $130
